KUCHING: Siemens is set to conduct a specialised workshop on Energy Management Systems (EMS) for hydrogen projects at the upcoming Hydrogen Economy Forum (H2EF) 2025, taking place from May 13 to 14 at Hilton Hotel here.
“Scheduled on the second day of the forum, the workshop will run from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on May 14.
“Aimed at enhancing capacity-building and technical know-how across the hydrogen value chain, the session will focus on integrating EMS into hydrogen production to optimise cost-efficiency, reliability and sustainability.
“Participants will be introduced to Siemens’ suite of digital and automation technologies that support high-efficiency electrolyser operations, grid integration, and renewable energy optimisation,” Borneo Business Connect said in a press release.
It then said among the key highlights are predictive maintenance, demand-side response strategies, and AI-powered analytics for real-time energy management.
“The workshop is complimentary for all registered H2EF 2025 participants,” it added.
Jointly organised by the Energy and Environmental Sustainability Ministry and Borneo Business Connect, and supported by Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak) and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation Malaysia (MOSTI), H2EF 2025 is a strategic platform for driving Southeast Asia’s transition toward a hydrogen economy.
The forum also aligns with national initiatives, such as the Hydrogen Economy & Technology Roadmap (HETR) and the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR).
