SIBURAN: Six houses were affected after flash floods hit Kampung Batu Gong along Jalan Kuching-Serian early this morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received a call at 5.50am and personnel from the Siburan station arrived at the scene at about 6.02am.
Floodwaters measuring approximately 0.3 metres submerged low-lying areas, with affected houses recording water levels of up to two feet.
The flood situation is under control and firefighters are continuing to monitor the affected areas.
