MUKAH: Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Kampung Tanam in Dalat is ready for full use for the 2026 school session following the completion of its new school facilities.
The Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR Sarawak) carried out the official handover of the completed project to the Sarawak State Education Department after a site visit and inspection today (Jan 12).
According to its Facebook statement, the full replacement project involved the construction of 12 classrooms, 10 units of teachers’ quarters and supporting facilities to meet the school’s learning and operational needs.
The department said the handover ensured the facilities were fully functional and prepared to support teaching and learning activities when the new school year began.
“JKR Sarawak remains committed to delivering quality education infrastructure projects in support of the state’s human capital development agenda.
“The completion of this project is expected to provide a more conducive learning environment, enhance teaching and learning quality and bring long-term benefits to students, teachers and the Kampung Tanam, Dalat community,” it added.
