SIBURAN: SK Taba Sait in the Bengoh Resettlement Scheme has become the second school within the Mambong constituency to receive a Mini Think & Tinker (T&T) Lab.

Deputy Minister for Transport, Datuk Dr Jerip Susil, announced the contribution of equipment worth RM15,000 in conjunction with the launching ceremony of the Project of Dreams Realised (PRO-DR) Roadshow 2025 here on Wednesday.

Dr Jerip, who is also Mambong Assemblyman, said that education is the main pillar of the state’s development, especially in facing the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the digital economy.

“Pursuing education is not just for employment, but to prepare oneself to face the challenges of a complex world. Education is the passport to the future,” he added.

He also welcomed the collaboration of more than 30 institutions and agencies that worked together to make PRO-DR a success, and suggested that this high-impact programme be expanded to other areas, including Padawan.

The event was attended by more than 500 students together with parents, community leaders, government officers, and representatives of educational agencies.

PRO-DR 2025 not only highlights educational and career opportunities but also offers various activities, including open interviews, STEM and innovation exhibitions, creative workshops, e-sports challenges, motivational talks, and the Career Exploration Programme (CEP).

Since its introduction in 2015, the PRO-DR series organised by TEGAS has benefitted more than 100,000 students across Sarawak.
