Firemen catch the two-foot-long cobra with a prong.

MIRI:  A two-foot-long cobra which appeared in a house in Taman Tunku on Sunday morning (Mar 7) was safely removed by a team of firemen from Miri fire station.

The occupants of the house were startled to see the snake and immediately called the firemen for help.

The discovery was made around 10am.

According to Zone 6 fire chief Supt Law Poh Kiong, three firemen from Miri fire station quickly dealt with the situation upon their arrival at the house.

The cobra was released into its natural habitat.
