KUCHING: The Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Stampin Branch has received a 65-inch Smart Board to support its humanitarian, training and community service programmes.

According to a statement, the equipment, donated by WB Resources Sdn Bhd, will support the branch’s first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillator (AED), and volunteer development activities.

MRC Stampin Branch’s Chairman, Chew Kim Soon, said the contribution would also support meetings, presentations and educational programmes conducted by the branch.

“We sincerely thank Jordan Ong and WB Resources Sdn Bhd for this meaningful contribution.

“The Smart Board will be a valuable addition to our branch and will enhance our training, meetings, presentations and educational programmes, particularly our First Aid, CPR and AED and volunteer development activities,” he said.

Chew said support from the corporate sector played an important role in strengthening the capacity of humanitarian organisations to serve communities more effectively.

“This donation is not only a contribution of equipment, but also an encouragement to our volunteers to continue serving the community with dedication.

“We greatly appreciate WB Resources Sdn Bhd for stepping forward to support our humanitarian cause,” he said.

The Smart Board was presented by WB Resources’ Managing Director, Jordan Ong, to Chew at the company’s showroom at Chonglin Park, Tabuan Road, here.

Members of the MRC Stampin Branch committee were also present.

The branch said it hoped to continue its relationship with the company and explore future collaboration in community service, humanitarian programmes and life-saving awareness initiatives.
