SIBU: The Sibu Central Market Multi-Storey Carpark is now fully integrated with the SMC Cares app, said Councillor Mohammed Abdullah Izkandar Roseley.
The Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) Deputy Chairman said that the initiative will help reduce congestion and confusion, making parking faster and more convenient.
“No more long queues at the counter, and no more searching for QR codes – just seamless, cashless payment right from your phone,” he said in a statement via his official Facebook today.
He thereby urged the public to update their SMC Cares app via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
The car park, located near Jalan Khoo Peng Loong, has been the first to implement cashless parking payments in Sibu since October last year.
It is commonly used by visitors going to the Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) and Sibu Central Market.
