BAU: The 10th Battalion of the Royal Ranger Regiment (10RRD) and 10th Battalion Border Regiment (10RS) and representatives from government agencies, private sector and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) held a gotong royong to clean the Tasik Biru area last Monday.
To complement the Third Brigade Infantry’s slogan of ‘Pengorbanan Keunggulan’, the activity was intended to serve the people of Bau especially in Tasik Biru to enjoy a healthy and clean environment.
Held in conjunction with Pesta Tasik Biru 2017, the programme also aimed to bridge ties between the residents of Bau with the government departments and agencies, private sector and NGOs.
The gotong royong started at 2pm and ended at about 4pm.
Also present were Tasik Biru Assemblyman Datuk Henry Harry Jenip and Commander of 10th Battalion Border Regiment, Lt Col Mohd Azli Sulaiman.
