KUCHING: The solid teamwork and collaboration among all participating agencies were key to the successful execution of the Sarawak Flagship Events 2025.

State Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, said that the team spirit displayed not only ensured the success of the flagship events but also streamlined other prestigious programmes, including the visits of VIPs to the Land of the Hornbills.

“Every year we have Flagship Events such as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s Birthday, National Day, Malaysia Day, the Sarawak Governor’s Birthday Celebration, and so forth, as well as several VIP visit programmes to Sarawak, all of which require strong cooperation.

“Without the collaboration and team spirit from everyone, I believe those programmes would not have been executed as successfully as they were,” he said.

Abu Bakar added that the recent successful organisation of the Sarawak Public Service Day also drew praise from the Chief Secretary to the Federal Government (KSN), Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, who described it as a rare occurrence elsewhere.

He noted that this success was the result of the collaboration of everyone involved, who set aside differences in rank and background to bring new ideas, talent, and novelty to the organisation of events in Sarawak.
