Kuching: Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Public Complaints Bureau (SPCB) chief Wilfred Yap was recently approached by residents staying in Lorong 3 of  Stampin Resettlement Scheme, Jalan Stampin Baru  who inform him about the dilapidated condition of a house a poor family of two was staying in.

The residents on behalf of the poor family had also requested SPCB to assist the poor family to repair the house which did not even have a bathroom and toilet.

Following the information and request for assistance received,  Yap together with other SUPP members had gone to inspect and assess the situation to see what could be done to resolve the problem faced by the poor family.

SPCB is pleased to inform that the house of the poor family has been repaired and a bathroom together with toilet built for them. SPCB would like to thank Chia Siew Kim of W-Max Resources Sdn Bhd for his generous donation of the wood materials used in the repair and the members of  Persatuan Alumni Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar UiTM (PIMPIN) for carrying out the repair works on a volunteer basis.

SPCB is always ready to be a voice of the public and lend a helping hand to the anyone facing  problems or who come across problems of public interest but does not know how to deal with it. Anyone requiring assistance can always call SUPP Public Complaint Bureau’s mobile number at 016-7797688 or 082-246999 or go direct to SUPP Head Office to request for assistance.
