OYA: This year’s Hari Raya Aidiladha was a special one for two physically disabled individuals (OKU) when each received an electric motorcycle, thanks to Kumpulan Dakwah Halus (KDH) and Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS) Mukah as well as Mukah District Police Headquarters (IPD).

ASP Alexander Helin John Sitin, and Mukah TBS head Osman Immun jointly handed over the machines to Padil Assan, 63, and Adaha Hapani, 49, at a simple ceremony at Oya Square here on Monday (July 19).

ASP Alexander Helin represented the Mukah OCPD while Osman represented KDH.

Both recipients, who are from Jalan Muhibbah, Kampung Bom here, formerly used specially made manually-powered vehicles.

Mukah IPD surau chairman Insp Mohamad Haslee Shafiee and his deputy Sgt Maj Ajahar Bakar aso attended.

It is learned that the price of each motorcycle is RM2,500.
