BINTULU: In conjunction with the Easter celebration, the Salvation Army Bintulu paid a heartfelt visit to Bintulu Hospital to bring joy to children in the paediatric ward and present them with special gifts.
A total of 100 gifts were donated by Pemanca Datuk Dr Francis Toh Chiew Peng as a gesture of support and appreciation for the young patients and the dedicated healthcare workers who care for them tirelessly.
Captain Daniel Lim, Officer of the Salvation Army Bintulu Corps, said the visit was more than just a routine gesture – it was a symbol of love and compassion for those in need.
“Datuk Dr Francis Toh’s contribution is not only material in nature but also serves as a spiritual encouragement for us and the wider community to continue spreading love, especially to children who are bravely battling illnesses,” he said.
Lim also extended his heartfelt gratitude to all the medical staff at Bintulu Hospital for their unwavering dedication and compassion in caring for patients, particularly during festive seasons.
