SRI AMAN: The 2025 Sri Aman League, Piala Datuk Francis Harden Hollis, is set for an explosive semi-final weekend as four of the division’s top sides battle for a place in the final.

Group A representatives Merpati FC and SAPD will lock horns with Group B challengers Aqib X Kampung Boy FC and Fuhai FT in matches scheduled this Saturday (Aug 23).

The first semi-final kicks off at 8.30am with Merpati FC taking on Fuhai FT, while SAPD face Aqib X Kampung Boy FC at 3.30pm. The winners will advance to the grand finale on Aug 24.

Persatuan Bola Sepak Bahagian Sri Aman (FASA) honorary secretary Alfred Kendim said the stage is set for an intense weekend of football.

“All four teams have shown consistency throughout the group stage. At this point, every side is determined to push for the title,” Alfred told Arena Suara Sarawak.

He added that the semi-finals often deliver surprises, as even the smallest lapse in concentration could prove costly.

The final on Sunday is expected to draw a large crowd, with supporters eager to see which team will lift the coveted trophy.
