KUCHING: The Sarawak Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) has announced the return of its popular Christmas Charity Bazaar, set to take place on Dec 8, at the MBKS Community Hall here.
According to a press release on Wednesday (Nov 27), the event aims to raise funds for the organisation’s animal shelter and welfare programmes.
“This much-anticipated bazaar promises a day of community spirit and charity, featuring a diverse selection of items for sale, including food and beverages, snacks, dry food items, second-hand books, toys, games, and used clothing.
“With affordable prices and unique offerings, attendees can enjoy holiday shopping while contributing to a meaningful cause,” it said.
In addition to shopping, the bazaar will also feature an adoption drive.
SSPCA encouraged anyone considering adopting a pet to visit and explore the opportunity to provide a home for these animals.
The SSPCA team will be present to guide visitors through the adoption process.
The organisation is also calling on local businesses and organisations to support the cause by setting up stalls at the event.
“We are looking for a few more generous organisations to help us make this event a success,” it added.
