THE Chief Justice of Malaysia Tan Sri Richard Melanjum declined  to comment on the Malaysia Agreement 1963 issue after  his courtesy visit to the Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg in Kuching yesterday.

The matter was under the jurisdiction of the State and Federal Ministers, Melanjum said
when met by reporters after visiting Abang Johari at the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) building in Kuching yesterday.

He was accompanied by the Chief Justice for Sarawak and Sabah Datuk David Wong Dak Wah.

Meanwhile, Abang Johari also received a courtesy call later in the afternoon from the new Consul General of The Republic of Indonesia Yonny Tri Priyitno. During the visit, they discussed trade ties between Sarawak and Indonesia, tourism and the workforces.
