LUNDU: The state government is steadfast in its commitment to enhancing rural infrastructure, as demonstrated by a new road upgrading project in the Opar constituency.
Opar assemblyman Billy Sujang highlighted that the project includes the upgrading of agricultural roads in Kampung Sebako.
It is set to begin soon to improve the daily lives of local residents.
“The upgraded road will not only serve as the main route for the residents but will also help improve the local economy’s infrastructure.
“It will make it easier for them to transport palm oil and other crops for marketing,” he said at the groundbreaking ceremony for the project held recently.
According to Billy, this project will not only involve Kampung Sebako but will also cover other villages in the Opar constituency, including Kampung Biawak.
