KUCHING: A warm and harmonious atmosphere filled the Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2026 open house hosted by the State Secretary, the Deputy State Secretary (Economic Planning and Development), and directors of units under the Sarawak Premier’s Department at Dewan SABATI here today.
The event was graced by Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian, who took time to attend the celebration as a symbol of unity and togetherness within the state administration.
Upon arrival, he was welcomed by State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, who served as the host.
Also present were Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, State Attorney General Datuk Seri Saferi Ali, State Financial Secretary Datuk Seri Wan Lizozman Wan Omar, and Deputy State Secretary (Economic Planning and Development) Datuk Seri Dr Muhammad Abdullah Zaidel.
The event was further enlivened by the presence of deputy ministers, assemblymen and head of departments.
The presence of leaders from various backgrounds at the event reflected the strong spirit of unity within the Sarawak Government’s administration.
The Aidilfitri celebration not only served as a platform to strengthen ties between leaders and civil servants, but also reinforced the harmony and close relationships that form the foundation of the state’s stability and progress.
