SARIKEI: The Sarawak-level 2025 National Day Eve Celebration, held at the Sarikei Integrated Sports Complex on Saturday, successfully embodied the theme ‘Malaysia MADANI: Rakyat Disantuni’.

The event was not only filled with lively entertainment performances but also carried profound messages on the importance of safeguarding collective well-being and strengthening unity among Malaysia’s diverse communities.

Thousands of visitors of all ages, races and backgrounds attended, enjoying the relaxed performances while embracing the patriotic spirit through the patriotic songs played.

Among the highlights of the evening were performances by well-known Malaysian artists such as Bob Yusuf, Syura and Nai Dinamik, alongside local talents including Carrie Geres, Firdaus Materang, Raquel Then, Anthony Usan and Agura Band, who further enlivened the celebration with captivating shows.

Present at the event were the Minister of Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development and Minister-in-Charge of the 2025 Sarawak National Day Celebration, Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah; Acting State Secretary of Sarawak, Datuk Seri Dr Muhammad Abdullah Zaidel; and Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Corporate Affairs, Information, and UKAS), who also serves as Deputy Minister-in-Charge of the 2025 Sarawak National Day Eve Celebration, Datuk Abdullah Saidol.
