KUCHING: State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar has paid a visit to the family of the late Premier’s Department officer Navin Navaratnam who was involved in a fatal accident on Thursday (Apr 10).
In a press release, it was stated that Abu Bakar visited the family at their residence here last night (Apr 11) to personally extend his condolences and express sympathy over the untimely loss.
The visit served as a gesture of respect and gratitude for Navin’s contributions and dedicated service to the Sarawak Civil Service.
Also present during the visit was the Sarawak Transformation and Innovation Unit (STIU) director Superi Awang Said, who represented the department in extending condolences and offering moral support to Navin’s family.
As a show of support and solidarity, Abu Bakar also presented a contribution to the late officer’s family to help ease their burden and shared words of encouragement during this difficult time.
Additionally, the Sarawak government also extended its deepest appreciation for the late officer’s dedication and sacrifices throughout his service and hopes the family remains strong in the face of this loss.
