KUCHING: Education and training provider MB Edulink Sdn Bhd will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Innovative University College to offer an immersive 10-day programme aimed at developing future STEM-AI educators, targeting the subject of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
The 60-hour programme will run from April 20 to 30 and will expose participants to a Japanese-inspired, industry-aligned, hands-on approach covering artificial intelligence, robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), virtual reality (VR), and Industry 4.0 applications.
The signing ceremony will be held on Feb 5 at MB Edulink Office located in Satok.
Designed for educators, trainers and STEM enthusiasts, the course comprises 10 modules, three assessments and a final capstone project.
The curriculum includes STEM-AI pedagogy and ethical AI awareness; introduction to technology; computational and design thinking; software tools for computational activities; computational thinking console and VR programming; building real-world smart sensors for data science and AI applications; developing AI-powered robotic and motion applications; building IoT environments and edge/AIoT activities; designing and developing project-based STEM lesson plans for classroom and online learning; and a final capstone project presentation covering software skills, drones and IoT robotics.
