PAKAN: Three rooms in the 23-room Rumah Ningkan Janteng at Mile 4, Jalan Engkamop here were damaged by a storm Monday morning (Nov 16).
Bintangor fire station despatched firefighters to the scene after receivinga distress call on the incident around 8.45am.
On arrival, operations commander PPgB Nicholas Belulin was informed that one of the longhouse rooms (door 22) had its roof blown off while the roof of door 23 was damaged. Door 21 suffered a wet ceiling due to the rain.
Nicholas said the firefighters monitored the situation and took note of the damages and the occupants’ details before returning to the station.
