SERIAN: The enduring and positive relationship between Sarawak and Indonesia must be upheld to yield mutual benefits, says Tebedu Assemblyman Dr Simon Sinang Bada.

He said this close and collaborative relationship is crucial for the regional economy and trade, as well as for jointly organising beneficial activities for both countries.

“We must ensure that our close and cooperative relationship continues into the future,” he said when officiating the 22nd Sosek Malindo Games here yesterday (Oct 7).

Among the programme highlights were folk sports events held at the Mini Sports Complex, while other sport events took place at the Serian Community Hall Indoor Stadium and the Sarawak Government Administration Centre here.

The programme continued with the organisation of the Titian Muhibbah Night, focusing on cultural and artistic aspects.
