KUCHING: Seven persons in Kampung Ajibah Abol here escaped unharmed when the roof of their house was blown away during a storm last Saturday evening (Aug 22).
According to the fire department operations centre, a distress call concerning the incident was received at 5.42pm.
Firemen deployed from Padungang fire station found the upper part of the house damaged, but all seven occupants escaped without injuries.
Two nearby houses were also damaged from being hit by the roof as it flew away.
The firemen ended their operation at 8.35pm.
