KUCHING: A car parked at Jalan Reservoir was damaged after the roof of a garage, blown off by strong winds, came crashing down on it this afternoon.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firefighters from Padungan station were dispatched to the scene following a distress call at 2.47pm.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that the garage roof had fallen onto the parked car.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
The team only helped to clear the debris and move the collapsed structure to a safe area to prevent further hazards.
Once the situation was deemed safe, the team wrapped up the operation and returned to their station.
