MUKAH: Sts Peter and Paul Parish Mukah won the inter-church football match held at Padang Mesra Mukah here, last Sunday afternoon.

The local Parish defeated St Bernard Parish Dalat, 5-4, through a penalty shoot-out after they drew 2-2, after full time.

Held in front of about 150 odd-crowd, the  friendly game was held in conjunction with Sts Peter and Paul Pastoral Parish Fiesta to celebrate its 112th anniversary.

The entertaining match was kicked-off by Sts Peter and Paul Church Rector, Rev. Fr. Joseph Sebastian, who also gave away the prizes to the players of both teams at the end of the game.

Also present were Sts Peter and Paul Pastoral Parish Council Chairman, Dominic Aseng Edal and the members of the parish from Dalat and Mukah.
