KUCHING: Sarawak Teachers’ Union (STU) welcomes all announcements made by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
Its president Macky Joseph said this and hoped that all pupils and teachers are always kept up to date with the latest news on Covid-19.
“Pupils are also reminded to opt for self-learning during school break and the extension of the school holidays due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
“Teachers are to be alerted to all measures made by the ministry and to follow them accordingly,” he stated.
Macky thanked the Sarawak government for making decisions in favour of the pupils and teachers in the schools during this difficult time.
He then reminded all to keep calm and always take care of themselves, family and the surrounding.
