Stuck driver freed, sent to hospital

MIRI: A driver of a car was stuck inside his vehicle after it was involved in a collision with another car along the Miri By-pass road early this morning (Sept 3).

Seven firemen from Lopeng Fire Station were rushed to the scene in response to the alert at 6.32am.

Upon their arrival at the scene, they quickly freed the trapped driver, in his 20’s, out of his car and rushed him to the hospital.

The rescue operation ended around 6.50am.

Prior to the incident, the victim was travelling alone.
