KUALA LUMPUR: Kelantan The Real Warriors (Kelantan TRW) FC suffered a home defeat to Kuala Lumpur City (KL City) in a Super League match at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium here last night (Apr 10).

The City Boys opened the scoring in the 20th minute through Safawi Rasid.

The home side came close to an equaliser in the 41st minute, but Azwan Aripin’s free kick was denied by KL City goalkeeper, Julian Kammeraad.

The City Boys doubled their lead in the 53rd minute when import player, Kpah Sherman, headed in a cross past the Kelantan TRW’s goalkeeper, making it 2-0 until the final whistle.

The result saw KL City climb to third in the Super League standings with 42 points, while Kelantan TRW remained in third from bottom with 15 points. – BERNAMA
