KUALA LUMPUR: PDRM FC cost Kuala Lumpur (KL) City FC some valuable points by drawing 1-1 in their Super League match at Selayang Municipal Council Stadium last night (Jan 30).

KL City FC had come out strong in the first half in search of a win but it was PDRM FC who managed to score first when Kashim Oluwasegun scored off a pass from Park Tae Su in the 12th minute.

Undeterred by the goal, KL City FC continued their hunt for an equaliser only to see Paulo Jasue’s shot go wide of the goalpost in the 29th minute, and another attempt by Muhammad Safawi Rasid ruled offside.

The visitors’ hard work and perseverance finally paid off in the second half when Declan Lambert  took a blistering shot that was on target in the 63rd minute, gifting his team the equaliser they were looking for, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Last night’s result leaves PDRM still at the bottom with seven points, while KL City is stuck at third with 30 points, behind second-placed Selangor FC. – BERNAMA
