MIRI: A 24-year-old man was held by the police after he allegedly injured his housemate.
The attack was said to have occurred in a house at Piasau here on Wednesday afternoon.
Prior to the attack, the victim aged 50, had advised the suspect not to bring any stolen item into the house.
Furious for the advice, the suspect then beat up the victim with a rubber hose. In the attack the victim who works as a security guard sustained injury on his back.
The incident was witnessed by the victim’s wife.
Following a report lodged, police on Thursday nabbed the suspect and seized a 75cm rubber hose believed to have been used in the incident.
