KOTA SAMARAHAN: Construction of the new Taman Desa Ilmu Mosque and several suraus in the constituency is expected to proceed according to schedule.
Rural and Regional Development Deputy Minister, Datuk Rubiah Wang, said the planned facilities would help accommodate the growing number of worshippers and strengthen community development.
“I hope the construction of these mosques and suraus can proceed smoothly as scheduled and bring lasting benefits to the people,” she said.
She said this during a coordination meeting at the Samarahan Resident’s Office on Friday.
The meeting also reviewed preliminary design concepts, proposed sites, and key technical considerations to ensure the projects meet spiritual and communal needs.
It further discussed cost estimates, funding sources, and a phased implementation approach to ensure all aspects are carried out systematically.
