PUTRAJAYA: A man with a “Tan Sri” title and two other people have been remanded for three days up to Thursday to assist in the investigation into the development of land belonging to the Jalan Bandar Sri Mahamariamman Temple in Kuala Lumpur, according to a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) source.
Magistrate Nik Muizuddin Nik Muhammad allowed an MACC application to have the trio remanded until Thursday.
The MACC source said the “Tan Sri” was arrested following a raid on his house Monday evening and a search at the management office of a temple in Batu Caves. – Bernama
