BINTULU: The landfill site at Tanjong Kidurong here has been on fire since last Wednesday.
Bintulu firemen have been despatched to the scene since day one to put out the blaze.
According to the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre, about one hectare of the area has been razed by the fire since it started.
At 2pm yesterday, a garbage dump, which stood at 40 metres tall, was on fire.
