KUCHING: A 12-year-old boy is feared drown after he was last seen playing near the seawall at Kampung Giat Mara, Sebuyau on Sunday.
The victim, identified as Mohamad Aidil Fiqrie Mohamad Rafik, was last seen wearing a brown short sleeved shirt and black pants.
According to a police report lodged by the family, the boy had left his house in Jalan Giat Mara, Sebuyau with a friend at around 9.30am.
Efforts have been made to look for the boy around Kampung Sebuyau but he has yet to be found.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) has dispatched rescuers to the scene after receiving a distress call from Simunjan police at 2pm on Monday.
At the time of writing, there are no new updates in the search for Aidil.
