SRI AMAN: A 15-year-old girl who had been missing since Nov 9 returned home safely on Wednesday (Nov 13).

Sri Aman police chief DSP Mathew Manggie confirmed in a statement that the teenager, identified as Agnes Skimol, had left her home voluntarily without any coercion.

“The teenager was last seen leaving her home around 10 am on Nov 9. A missing person report was filed at the police station on Nov 12.

“The next day (Nov 13), Agnes had already returned home safely,” he said.

In light of this, Mathew urged parents to remain vigilant about their children’s activities and social circles, particularly during their teenage years.

“The Sri Aman district police headquarters (IPD) would like to thank the public for their cooperation and commitment in providing information regarding the case,” he said.
