KUCHING: Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (TEGAS) has reaffirmed its commitment to nurture digital talent and entrepreneurship by actively participating in the recently concluded Digital Dive Day 2025, a three-day event organised by Sarawak Skills from May 20 to 22.
Held to promote greater awareness and interest in technical and vocational education and training (TVET), the event brought together students, educators, and industry professionals to explore opportunities within the digital economy.
As a strategic partner of Sarawak Skills and a key enabler in Sarawak’s digital innovation ecosystem, TEGAS was featured as one of the main exhibitors.
Its booth drew considerable interest from students and staff, offering hands-on insights into the TEGAS Digital Innovation Hub and its suite of startup programmes.
“TEGAS’ presence at Digital Dive Day 2025 was a valuable opportunity to directly engage with youth and education stakeholders while showcasing our initiatives to empower the next generation of digital leaders,” the agency said in a statement.
Throughout the event, TEGAS highlighted its ongoing efforts to support talent development, foster innovation, and drive entrepreneurial growth across Sarawak.
Visitors learned about the agency’s mentorship programmes, capacity-building workshops, and support mechanisms for startups and aspiring technopreneurs.
The collaboration further reinforced the shared mission of TEGAS and Sarawak Skills in advancing both the digital and TVET agendas under the state’s broader Post-Covid-19 Development Strategy.
“Digital Dive Day 2025 concluded with a positive impact on students and staff, who left the event more inspired and informed about the dynamic opportunities in Sarawak’s growing digital landscape,” the statement added.
The event highlighted the crucial role of strategic partnerships in preparing Sarawak’s youth to meet the demands of a fast-evolving digital economy.
