KUCHING: The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) has confirmed the revocation of body temperature checks and check-in logbooks when a person enters a premises.
SDMC, in a statement, said it agreed with the Senior Minister of Defence’s decision on Feb 8 regarding the abolition of body temperature checks and check-in logbooks, effective today (Feb 11).
In this regard, business owners are no longer required to provide temperature measuring devices and check-in logbooks at the entrance of their premises.
“However, check-in using the MySejahtera application is still required.
“Nonetheless, SDMC strongly encourages business owners to continue the implementation of temperature checks and check-in logbooks at their premises if they wish to do so.”
