KAPIT: Residents affected by the landslide that cut off access along Jalan Song/Sipan-Temalat can now breathe a sigh of relief, as a temporary diversion has been opened.
Katibas assemblyman Lidam Assan shared the good news in a Facebook post today (Jan 30).
“After much effort, we can finally use Jalan Temalat again, which was cut off early this morning.
“I sincerely thank everyone for their cooperation,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Public Works Department (PWD) in a statement said the diversion was completed at 5.30 pm today.
“Please drive carefully and follow all traffic instructions,” PWD advised.
