KUCHING: The route from Mile 7 towards Kuching will be temporarily narrowed starting tonight until Thursday to make way for a beam launching activity of the Pan Borneo Highway (LBU) project.
Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR) has issued a road closure notice yesterday.
“The route from Mile 7 to Kuching will be temporarily narrowed (currently, two lanes are opened to road users) due to a beam launching activity for the construction of the LBU project.
“It will be narrowed temporarily on Feb 25 until 27 from 10pm until 5am,” it said.
Road users are advised to follow the directional signage installed.
Any inconvenience caused to road users is much regretted. The public’s continuous support is highly appreciated to ensure the smooth implementation of the project.
