Tengku Ampuan of Pahang concludes official visit to Sarawak

KUCHING: Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, has departed for Pahang at about 10.15 am today (Dec 9), concluding her four-day official visit to Sarawak.

Her arrival at the VIP Terminal of the Kuching International Airport (KIA) at 9.10 am was received by Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Deputy Minister Datuk Snowdan Lawan, Old Kuching Smart Heritage (OKSHE) adviser Datuk Dr Sabariah Putit, and other dignitaries.

During her stay, Tunku Azizah attended a series of official programmes beginning with her arrival on Saturday (Dec 6) at 9.30 pm.

On Sunday (Dec 7), she officiated at the ‘Sense of Malaysia’ event at KIA in the morning before proceeding to the opening of the Borneo International Textile Festival (BITF) 2025 Expo at the Borneo Cultures Museum at 2 pm.

That evening, she graced the opening ceremony of the Borneo International Textile Festival 2025 held at a leading hotel here.

Her engagements continued yesterday (Dec 8), where she attended the BITF 2025 Seminar at the same hotel before visiting the Juma’ani Pavilion at 3 pm in conjunction with its third anniversary celebration.
