SIBU: Lions International District 308-A2 First Vice District Governor Jimmy Tie and the Past Council Chairperson of District 308B2 Patrick Chew visited a rural primary school in Chiang Rai, Thailand recently.

The visit demonstrated their strong commitment to supporting educational development.

Both Lions leaders contributed RM1,000 each to assist the school in purchasing computer equipment.

The contribution is aimed at enhancing students’ learning resources and improving the digital learning environment.

The duo set aside their time for the visit while on a delegation trip to promote the 308-A2 Asia Pacific Lions Summit 2026 to their Thai counterparts, which will be held here in mid-July next year.
