KUCHING: Sarawak’s own Texas Jeremy Lo is sharpening his weapons for Thailand, declaring himself in peak condition ahead of his SEA Games muaythai debut.
State muaythai athlete, Texas Jeremy – widely known by his fight moniker ‘The Savage’ – is riding high on confidence as he prepares to don national colours at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.
The 17-year-old, who has built a reputation for his explosive style and relentless ring presence, said he is pleased with his preparations so far.
“Preparations for SEA Games is 10/10 so far, amazing,” he told Sarawak Tribune.
Even before his Rajadamnern World Series (RWS) breakthrough, Texas had already impressed at the IFMA World Championships and ONE Lumpinee qualifiers, showcasing the relentless pace and toughness that earned him the moniker ‘The Savage’.
Texas, who trains at Powerhouse gym in Phuket, Thailand, continued in the RWS, one of global muaythai’s premier stages, where he gained valuable experience against elite Thai fighters.
His exposure to top-tier competition is expected to give him a vital edge when he steps into the ring in Bangkok as Malaysia looks to make an impact in the muaythai events.
