KUCHING: A suspect from Kampung Nanas was arrested by members of the public after he attempted to steal iron bars.
The suspect aged 39 years was with two others loading the stolen items into a car when they were chanced upon by the company’s workers at Jalan Dedandi, Tabuan Jaya here at about 8.30 am, yesterday.
The suspects are being detained for further questioning. The iron bars are worth about RM1,500.
