KUCHING: The Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG) of SMK St Thomas is calling on the local community to lace up their running shoes for the Thomian Charity Run 2025, set to take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the school grounds.
Flag-off is scheduled for 6:00 am, with participants able to choose between 3KM and 5KM categories.
The entry fee is RM80, and all runners will receive a T-shirt, medal, race bib, and an e-certificate upon completion.
Adding to the excitement is a lucky draw, with attractive prizes including electrical appliances up for grabs.
According to the organisers, in a statement issued recently, the event aims to raise funds to support the school’s academic and co-curricular initiatives, directly benefiting the students of SMK St Thomas.
The event is open to all residents of Kuching, and organisers are encouraging widespread participation from individuals and families.
“Open to all residents of Kuching! Let’s run for a cause and support the education of our young generation,” the statement read today.
