KUCHING: A girl from Kampung Datuk Stephen Yong was arrested for selling illegal lotteries in a coffee shop at Jalan Datuk Tawi at about 2pm last Monday.
Among items seized from the girl were a mobile handphone, stationery and RM56.
In another case, a woman in her 20s from Tebakang was arrested in a coffee shop at BDC near here at about 2.25pm last Monday.
Among items seized from here were a handphone, stationery and RM50.
And in another case in the afternoon, a man from Kampung Stutong Baru was arrested in a coffee shop at BDC near here for selling illegal lotteries.
He was also found with a mobile phone, stationery items and RM68.
All the three suspects were brought to Simpang Tiga Police Station for questioning.
Kuching Police chief, ACP Abang Ahmad Abang Julai confirmed the cases.
