KUCHING: A suspect was arrested after he punched and robbed after hitting a man and his handicapped friend on their faces and heads recently.

Following his arrest, two others were also arrested. Kuching police chief ACP Ng Ah Lek said the incident happened on September 5 when the victim a 29-year-old with a handicapped victim was driving along Tun Razak Road, They were blocked by a car and one of the suspects in the car came out and hit the handicapped victim.

Shortly, another person came out of the car again and punched another victim in the face. The suspect took away the car key of the victim and drove off. A police report was lodged. After their investigation, police arrested a suspect last Friday along Jalan Datuk Mohammad Musa, Kota Samarahan.

He was detained and then led police to arrest two more suspects aged between 20 and 40 years of age on Monday morning in Lubok Antu bazaar. Also consificated were a Kancil car and two blunt objects. All were detained for investigation.
