Three house break-in cases reported

KUCHING: A rigging technician lodged a police report after his rented quarters at Bintawa, Pending near here was broken into with his belongings worth more than RM1,000 stolen.

The 41-year-old technician from Sri Aman said when he returned from work last Tuesday he was shocked to find that his quarters has been broken into.

Among the items stolen were a gas cylinder, a wristwatch and three pairs of shoes.

In another case, a logistic supervisor from Taman Sukma, Petra Jaya near here lodged a police report after his office at Jalan Astana was broken into and RM234.70 kept in a drawer was missing.

The break-in was discovered when the supervisor went to work on Wednesday morning.

At Kpg Pinggan Jaya, a lorry driver said his house was broken into and among the items stolen were his handphone, house keys, personal documents including bank cards, watches, gold jewelries and RM800.

The break-in was discovered at 3 am on Wednesday when he was awakened by noises inside the house.
