KUCHING: Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving a Perodua Kancil, a Hyundai and a Lexus at Kampung Goebilt junction along Jalan Bako here on Saturday morning (Jan 31).

The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said the incident was reported at 9.40 am, with firefighters from the Tabuan Jaya station arriving at the scene at about 9.57 am.
All three injured victims – two women and a man – were occupants of the Perodua Kancil.
Two of them were trapped inside the vehicle, while another was assisted out by members of the public before firefighters arrived.
Bomba said rescue personnel worked with the Malaysian Red Crescent Society to extricate the remaining victims using stretchers before handing them over to an ambulance for transport to hospital.
The operation was brought under control by 10.03 am and concluded at about 10.18 am after the scene of the accident was declared safe.
