KUCHING: Three people were injured in an accident involving a van and a car at Jalan Stutong here yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred at around 3.00pm when the van driver, who was heading to Kota Samarahan from Kenyalang Park, was believed to have lost control of the vehicle, causing it to skid and crashed into a car travelling in the opposite direction.
Members of the public who witnessed the accident, came to the victims’ aid and called for an ambulance.
The van driver was later taken to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment while the other two victims, both females, were taken to a private hospital for medical attention.
