KOTA SAMARAHAN: Three local men were injured following a two-vehicle collision along Jalan Datuk Mohammad Musa early this morning (Mar 29).
The accident, involving a Honda City and a Perodua Viva, happened at around 3.30 am.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firefighters from Kota Samarahan station were dispatched to the scene near Kampung Pengkalan Kuap, about 15km away, after receiving a distress call.
Upon arrival, they found that members of the public had already rescued the victims from their vehicles.
All the injured victims were taken to the Sarawak Heart Centre for further treatment. Their identities and the extent of their injuries were not known.
Once the situation was deemed safe, the rescue operation concluded at 4.22 am.
